Background & Requirement

A complex educational institution has central compass and two remote campuses within the city. The client requires a computer-based system and multiple paging broadcast points. The system should be built on existing campus network., point-to-point for general and office buildings, and broadcasting for other locations. Classrooms should be able to play different listening exercise or examinations at the same time.

Campus Solution Description

The total of 228 rooms constitutes 228 broadcast points; 7 broadcasting zones for other areas. The offsite campuses are separated into two broadcasting zones, 237 broadcasting points. The system supports such functions:
  • Automated power turn-on/off; multiple preset work-and-rest schedules and can be programmed on a 24x7 basis; automatic playback of music school bell, audio programs; separate volume adjustment for the terminals.
  • Any number of classes can be grouped together as a whole to play unified programs and examinations at scheduled time automatically.
  • The main control room and lead's offices each have paging microphones for the broadcasting of announcement or speech.
  • The teachers are enabled by the workstation to remotely schedule any tasks for the broadcast zones with which she has the permission.; Teaching evaluation, classroom terminal pickup device embedded, main control room can listen to any classroom.
  • The system is able to deliver synchronized broadcasting service among all the campuses which is inaccessible for analog address system.
