Server Software

Server software takes charge of AOD, task scheduling, terminal and permission administration, and provides interfacing service for workstations. It also converts all the input resources, to digital programs and manages them for AoD or broadcasting tasks.Supports scheduled automatic tur-on/off, and is capable of remote control.
Dual-console mechanism guarantees that should the server fails or be infected by viruses, the digital console can take over and carry out all the basic functions of the server except for AoD. On the other hand, should the digital console fail, the server can also take over the entire system and manages all the terminals.

Workstation Software

Workstation software remotely logs on to the server via IP network (LAN/WAN) to perform remote management. The main tasks of the workstation software are audio real-time capture and playback, program resource editing, and task scheduling. Some examples of the usage of workstation software are:

The lead uses laptop connecting to the LAN or the Internet to broadcast speech to the campus. All he needs is a microphone directly plugged into the laptop. The microphone transfers the speech to the sound card which captures the signal and streams the data to the broadcasting terminals.
