Enabled by IPAudio™ technology, SPON IP Network Address System is a bidirectional audio amplifying system that streams the audio signal over LAN or WAN. The integrated functionality of computer network, digital video surveillance and digital address can be ensured.

IP Network PA Overiew

  • Functionality: terminals work independently from another (e.g. 300 terminals on the LAN play 300 different programs). It covers all of the functions provided by legacy systems, carries out advances functions such as AOD, communication between terminals, etc.
  • Transmission: unlimited transmission distance, as far as the network reaches. It scales in size as the network grows, from the local network to wide area network covers a great distance. The signal can be sent from the central campus/office to every branch campus.
  • Quality: the system supports up to CD quality playback. The quality is sufficient for listening comprehension exercises in language examination like university entrance test, CET 4,6, etc. Students can take great advantage of the crystal-clear sound.
  • Reliability: redundancy between the audio server (Windows OS) and IP console (embedded OS); should anyone fail, the other one will automatically take over all of the terminals, ensuring the zero downtime and seamless switchover.

  • Program Scheduler
  • Programs to be played can be uploaded to the audio server. The system will play the programs according to the schedule.
  • Broadcast paging
  • Any one, group or all, of the terminal can be selected via IP paging mic. The workstation also supports paging across the Internet.
  • Two-way Intercom
  • Bidirectional communication between paging microphone and terminal, or terminal and terminal.
  • AOD
  • The operator can play any programs by controlling the terminal using remote. The LCD displays directory. It is very easy to operate.
  • Real-time Audio Capture and Playback
  • The audio server real-time compresses the audio fed by external sources into data stream, then sends it towards terminal.
  • Broadcast-by-area
  • System can assign any group(s) to play designated audio program or multicast speech to any designated zones.
  • Monitoring the scene
  • Terminal panel built pickup device that can monitor terminals around the voices in fact, for teaching evaluation and fault detection.
  • Amplifier Power Control
  • IP network audio terminal automatically enables power of external amplifier when there is a signal to play or disable it when in idle.
  • Fire Alarm Trigger
  • The system can work with smoke and temperature sensors to support fire alarm system.
  • Audio Program Edition
  • The system supports multiple functions on input digital audio material including sound mixing, fade in/out, noise cancelling,etc.
  • Additional functions
  • Broadcasting monitoring enables survey the playing of any other terminal. Remote control, controls the terminal via remote kits.
